Great day for hawk watching !
I have been chasing a pair of hawks around for several months, finally getting a good shot last month... I'm sure it doesn't help that i have two large boisterous dogs with me when trying to capture them :) But its been fun, and the dogs need to be walked anyway, so I have kept trying. A couple of days ago ... I found not two but FIVE different hawks, I wasn't able to get good shots of all of them.. but did manage to get a few good ones. Have a look and let me know what you think. I'm thinking I want a newer faster, better camera lol . I have been looking in the last couple of days, can't quite swing the Dslr I'd really like.. so, I'm thinking a Canon SX30 si will get me a bit closer to the action.

I should note , the first and the last photo were taken on different days , all the other shots came from a couple of good hours. Luck was on my side.As i think 3 was the most Ive seen before in one day /
ReplyDeleteTerrific hawk shots. We used to have quite a few red tails here in the desert but I have seen almost none the past couple of years. I do hope there will be lots of them in northern MI. Your moon shot is glorious.
